Private Dining
Guests staying on a Fully-Inclusive Basis will be treated to a private Chef and waiter to take care of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We offer private dining at Chundu Cottage for you and your party! You may opt to dine under thatch or beneath the stars at night.
Our dining experience has a strong emphasis on dishes that are delicious, fresh and healthy. In season, our veggie patch produces wonderful crops of organic cherry tomatoes, strawberries, aubergines, marrows, rocket, lettuce, coriander, parsley, basil and other herbs, all nourished with our compost waste from the kitchen and our farm yard. If we can’t grow it ourselves, we support ethical farmers and growers on neighbouring farms. There are some excellent local suppliers of chicken, beef, pork and vegetables whom we purchase directly from. You’ll find our veggie garden on a walk through our Gardens!
The Victoria Falls Day Trip
The Victoria Falls Day Trip is an optional in-house experience for all guests staying with us on a Fully-Inclusive Basis.
On this day, we offer guests use of a private vehicle and driver to take you to Victoria Falls (Zambia) and our historical Livingstone Town for the day. No set time departures, no waiting for the late risers – you are free to spend as much time as you want to experience the world’s largest waterfall and surrounding attractions.
There is a lot to experience in and around Livingstone and Victoria Falls. Some experiences are seasonal and water-level dependent. Other experiences have extremely limited availability and it’s best to book these far in advance in order to secure a spot.
The Chundukwa team is on standby to guide you and assist with all additional activity arrangements in advance.

Our Fully Inclusive Rates exclude Victoria Falls Rainforest Entrance fees of US$ 20.00 per person, premium drinks, and any additional activities, transfers or dining experiences outside of Chundukwa that you may opt to do.

Chundu Cottage is an appropriate family-friendly solution for families with young children. Here, we have room for the whole tribe, complete with a private pool and optional safety gate.
A minimum charge of 4 adults applies at the cottage.
Children 5-12 years pay 50% when sharing with four adults.
Children under 5 years stay on a complimentary basis.

Our Check-In Time is anytime from 13h30 and Check-Out Time at 10h30.
Late Departures - should clients staying on a Fully-Inclusive Basis require a late departure up until 17h00, a fee of USD 100.00 per person will be payable and shall include lunch, house drinks and use of the entertainment areas and lodge facilities. Regrettably, the continued use of the room during this time is not guaranteed. Use of the room will only be permitted if the room is available and does not have incoming guests.
